Hello! I’m Max Cortezi. I am an actor, singer, and model based in New York City, currently pursuing professional work. I have performed internationally in both Shakespeare and “Cabaret”, as well as locally in play readings at Circle in the Square. Originally from Baltimore, MD, I began performing regionally in theaters, including Baltimore Center Stage and Stillpointe Theater. Since moving to the city, I graduated from NYU Tisch with a BFA in Drama with a minor in the Business of Entertainment, Media, and Technology. I deeply love musical theater, horror movies, and Shakespeare. I want to tell stories that change the world and truly affect audiences. My current favorite show is House of the Dragon and my favorite band is Fleetwood Mac.
My film debut, The Duel, will be premiering July 31st! Starring Dylan Sprouse and Patrick Warburton, it is an absolutely tantalizing tale of betrayal, comedy, and friendship. Check it out!
I enjoy playing a wide variety of roles, usually emotionally flawed young men. I’m a bit of a chameleon and work hard to be able to transform to fit many different roles. I always try to find the humanity in any character, from villain to hero. I love bringing messy, complicated life to any project. Nothing makes me more excited than storytelling.
